Vintage Grain-sack texile, re-used vintage hemp fibres, patching, plaiting, hand stitching on to canvas backing, hanging on grain-sack bar.

Drawing inspiration from layering and textile, Textile Artist Elizabeth Knowles introduces new elements of knotting, fringing and plaiting by way of 'Un-Weaving' the original vintage textile and re-using  these fibres in new and unexpected forms.
