Drawing inspiration from layering and textile, Textile Artist Elizabeth Knowles introduces new elements of knotting, fringing and plaiting by way of 'Un-Weaving' the original vintage textile and re-using  these fibres in new and unexpected forms.

This is a unique wall hanging crafted from one original European grain- sack. Complete with patching, this textural wall hanging adds texture and shape to any wall.

Try this piece in your dining room, a hallway, behind a sofa or over a bed for a classic spin on everyday art.

Hand sourced and hand made by Textile Artist Elizabeth Knowles from vintage Grain sack approx 60- 80 years old, hemp weave with thin blue stripe and fringe detail.

When it comes to styling, mimic a hammock- hang flat against a wall with some slack.
