Grain-sack Boro inspired Tote bag

The Boro patched Market Tote handcrafted from natural fibres (a mix of re-claimed and vintage) and hand worked with the Japanese art work of boro and sashiko stitching in an organic design.  

A stunning example of textile in its raw element. The leather handles will caramelise in tone and the grain sack will only get better with age. This tote is something to treasure and bring you joy.

Approx dimensions: opening 50cm x 30cms deep. Base dimensions 16cm x 35cm. Handles length 40cm end to end.

This tote has been lovingly handmade and stitched by textile artist  Elizabeth Knowles in her atelier in Tauranga, New Zealand. It features the beautiful creamy orche texture  of vintage european hemp textile, fully lined with leather russet handles that are hand hammered on, studded inside lining pocket, zip pocket  and reinforced base. The tote bag also comes with VSU Authenticity badge and unique serial number.
