Hand blocked Batik cushion 50 x 50 Indigo Blue

Something a little different- Hand blocked Batik textile in indigo. I have collected these textiles for many years and the colour and patterns are totally unique and one-of-a-kind. The textile has been created using age old techniques featuring intricate patterns created by hand blocks using natural indigo dye extracted from plants. This unique fabric has been made up into a collection of Vintage Stitch Up cushions and bolsters.

Please note there maybe some variation in colour and / or pattern with hand made textiles & items which simply adds to the unique characteristics of this piece and considered completely normal.

Front: Indigo batik print softly padded.

Back: 100 % Linen navy colour. 

Option to buy with or without insert. Feather filled cushions can only be sent within New Zealand.

VSU supplies Feathers and co duck feather inserts. The filling has a firm yet soft bounce to it and perfect teamed with vintage grain sack cushions and bolsters.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Made from Antique Grain sack
100% raw cotton dyed indigo

100% linen backing
Close zip prior to wash
30 deg mild hand wash
Lay flat to dry
Medium heat with steam
Handmade in New Zealand
